About
Sera Holland (b. 1981, Johannesburg, South Africa) is an artist and designer based in Cape Town. Known for her thick impasto oil paintings, in particular Sera's distinctive palette scallops which are crafted from leftover oil paint, reflecting both her creativity and sustainability. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the South African landscape, which she uses to explore themes of colour and texture, often with a sense of playfulness.
When not painting, Sera turns her attention to ceramics, where she applies her artistic skills to creating and painting unique pottery pieces.
